We stopped by the George Washington Carver Museum NPS to earn a Junior Ranger badge & see a bottle of peanut oil featured on our favorite show Mysteries at the Museum.

This little stop among the beautiful Tuskegee Institute campus is worth a visit. We had previously earned the Booker T. Washington Junior Ranger badge by taking a tour of his home and completing the book. The GWC building was closed for renovations. So a year later we returned to check out the new displays.

What to expect:

The museum is small but full of information about the life and accomplishments of George Washington Carver. Grab a Junior Ranger book at the front desk and Passport Stamps are also available in the same area.

There is a gallery and movie downstairs. We had to skip it because of time constraints.  We did walk through the museum rather quickly too.

Admission is free to both NPS locations and they are within walking distance depending on where you end up parking.
