Snow is rare in our neck of the woods, except for a few large scale events every now and then. Parts of Alabama got several inches today.  Our homestead got 1 to 2 inches.

What do Southerners do when it snows? We think about turning it into food of course.

You’ll need a large bowl of snow and the following ingredients:

Chocolate syrup

Stevia (or sugar -Stevia is a cup for cup ratio on sugar)

Milk (we use whole milk and I use almond milk in a smaller portion for myself, since I can’t have milk products)

Directions:

Generously drizzle chocolate syrup all over the snow

Pour in a cup of milk (this could vary by the amount of snow – if it gets too soupy, just add more snow)

1/2 cup of Stevia (really this is to taste – it could be less or more)

Stir

Serve

Store leftovers in the freezer, otherwise you’ll have chocolate milk.
