This Sunday is your chance to hit Burritt on the Mountain in Hunstville for free. This rare admission deal is to mark the birthday of Dr. Burritt.

So what is Burritt?

“Burritt is a unique Huntsville Treasure named for Dr. William Burritt who gave the land and his home to the city in 1955. It sits on top of Monte Sano Mountain, overlooking the city of Huntsville and boasts breathtaking views. We have nature trails, Dr. Burritt’s unique mansion used for exhibits and available to tour, a Historic Park with 6 restored 19th century homes, their related outbuildings, and a barnyard complete with animals. The Historic Park allows the interpretation of rural farm life in the area between 1800 and 1900.” –  From Burritt

What you’re saving:

Admission is $10 per adult and $8 per child. So for our family of five we would save $44. That’s a huge savings in my book.
