SOUTHERN MUSEUM OF FLIGHT FREE FAMILY FUN DAY
Our favorite museum here in Birmingham is the Southern Museum of Flight and they are having a Free Family Fun Day Open House Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
They will have games, snacks, a photo booth and more.
While you’re there look into a membership. Not only will you get access to the museum for a year but you’ll also get access to more than 300 science museums across the United States. That means you’ll get free or discounted admission through the ASTC Passport program.

Frugal adventure to Cave Spring, Ga
Paid a $1 per person last week to see a cool little cave in Cave Spring, Ga. the self-guided tour was easy, adventurous and worth the $5 for the family to explore. There is a mountain spring that runs through the cave – people drive to this spot just to get this free water. It’s free to taste it and get as much of it as you want(or can carry). It’s a short drive to Rolater Park & Cave. The water is 60 degrees if you want to wade in the permitted areas. The cave is a cool 58 degrees. You can feed trout living in the lake near the cave too! Feed is only 25 cents. The area is on the original Trail of Tears route.
