Not into beer but love the Budweiser Clydesdales? Me too. That’s why I plan on checking out the horses at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex Nov. 10 through Nov. 13 at Uptown Park. The horses are in town to appear in the Veteran’s Day parade downtown Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m. Go here for details.
Here’s the description from the BJCC Facebook event:
The Budweiser Clydesdales will prance into Birmingham on November 9 for a six-day stay in stables set up at the BJCC. The National Veterans Day Foundation arranged for the horses to come to the Magic City to march in the Veterans Day Parade on November 11 through downtown Birmingham. Public viewing is available Nov. 10-13 at Uptown Park.
Dates and times:
Nov. 10, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Nov. 11, 5 – 7 p.m.
Nov. 12, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Nov. 13, 2 – 5 p.m.
You will be allowed to view the horses and take pictures, however no details are provided about being able to pet them. (I say that because most kids will ask, and I have no idea)
If I make it down there this week, I’ll update with more information.
