Anniston Museum of Natural History, Black Heritage Festival

Admission: Free, for the festival and the museum

Description: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. families can enjoy cultural performances, crafts, exhibits and more.

Ruffner Mountain – Mountain Survival Skills, Shelter Building

Cowboy Day Parade & Cowboy demonstrations

Event starts at 10 a.m., parade 1 p.m., wild west shootout at noon.

Rocket City Weather Fest 

Saturday at UAH Shelby Center 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Winter Animal Enrichment Day at Montgomery Zoo
